Description:
In 1895, the North Ohio Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church constructed a church in Castalia, Ohio, to link the Clyde, Ohio, and Sandusky, Ohio, churches. The cost of the site and church itself was $1,460. Until 1902, the Castalia church was part of the Clyde Circuit of the Sandusky District. The congregation numbered 16 to 31, fluctuating over the years. From 1904 until 1917 Castalia was part of the Vickery, Ohio Circuit. In 1917, the church was sold and proceeds were applied to the church in Vickery.
