Mohican State Forest, 2-1 white and 2-2 red pine planted Apr. 1935 & 1936, alternate rows with 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 spacing. H.R. Muckley, foreman. Cost of plantation $1,735. Low pruned in 1957-58 in anticipation of thinning. Plantation was thinned in 1960-61 at a cost of $1,000. Thinned 58 acres, every fourth row, releasing the two rows of white pine. Scale: A.N.
