Description:

American Chestnut grafted on Hawk Chinese chestnut in spring of 1961 in Plot D-11 in Secrest Arboretum. Inoculated in summer of 1962 with endothia parasitica. This clone was killed by the blight following inoculation. Scale: Dan Haffner, Garett, Indiana. Item #5960
