Gerald E. Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Myers of Port Clinton, Ohio, entered into the military following graduation from Port Clinton High School. He was assigned to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita County, Texas, upon completion of Air Force basic training.
