dc.description The steel "Ste. Claire" was built in Toledo, Ohio, in 1910 for the Detroit & Windsor Ferry Company. She was used primarily as a ferry between Detroit, Windsor, Belle Isle, and others. In 1938, with the discontinuation of that service, the "Ste. Claire" was moved to the Bob-lo excursion run.
