Built at Craig Shipyards in Toledo, Ohio, the "Argo" was owned by Graham and Norton of Benton Harbor, Michigan. After she was damaged in a storm at Holland, Michigan, she was repaired and sold to the Chicago, Racine and Milwaukee Line.
