dc.description The "Passport" was built in England in 1846 and shipped to Kingston, Ontario two years later. She sailed for many years on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River and was rebuilt on several occasions. She was rechristened the "Caspian" when the Richelieu & Ontario Navigation Company Line acquired her. She was sold a number of times, eventually running to and from Rochester by way of Brighton, Trenton, Belleville, Deseronto, Picton, Bath, Kingston, Rockport, and Alexandria Bay for the Lake Ontario-Bay of Quinte Line. The "Caspian" was dismantled in Sorel, Quebec, in 1929-1930.
