dc.description Built as the "Norseman" in Montreal in 1868, this Canadian side-wheel operated for the Lake Ontario & Bay of Quinte Steamboat Company on the Rochester – Cobourg route. She was rebuilt in Kingston in 1891 and renamed the "North King;" her course ran between Rochester, Trenton, Bellville, Deseronto, Picton, Bath, Kingston, Rockport, and Alexandria Bay before returning to Kingston and Rochester by way of the St. Lawrence River.
