The "Harlem," shown here under sail, was built by the Manitoc Ship Building Company in Wyandotte, Michigan, and launched on July 3, 1888. She was stranded on Isle Royale in Lake Superior in 1898 and salvaged in 1899. The Jenks Ship Building Company, Port Huron, Michigan, rebuilt her in 1900.
