Rebuilt in 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, from the "Juniata" (constructed 1904), the "Milwaukee Clipper" served as a streamlined passenger ship between Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Muskegan, Michigan. She was operated by the Michigan Steamship Company and could hold 900 passengers and 200 automobiles.
