dc.description |
The steel Canadian paddle steamer the "Toronto" was built for the Canadian S. S. Company in Toronto, Ontario, in 1899. She operated between Toronto, Rochester, Kingston, and Prescott. In 1938, the "Toronto" was laid up at the Ship Channel in Toronto, Ontario, as she needed new boilers and other maintenance operations. She eventually deteriorated into disrepair and was scrapped at Hamilton, Ontario, in the fall of 1947. |
