Description:
The "City of Saginaw No. 31" was built in 1929 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, for the Pere Marquette Railroad. She was considered the flagship for the company, with comfortable accommodations for passengers as well as space for vehicles. The electric-powered ship could travel between Ludington, Michigan, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in six hours. The "City of Saginaw No. 31" was retired and scrapped in 1973.
