dc.description The "Colonial" sailed under a number of different names. She was built as the "Darius Cole" in 1885 in Cleveland, Ohio, and sailed for the Star Cole Line. In 1905, she was rechristened the "Huron" and plied the Georgian Bay Route. In 1921, she was sold and became the "Colonial." She was burned on September 1, 1925, off of Barcelona, then taken to Dunkirk, New York, where she lay for three years until she was broken away by a storm. She washed on the beach and lay until 1930, when she was finally dismantled.
