The "Northumberland" was constructed in 1891 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, Great Britain. She operated as a Canadian steamer from Port Dalhousie to Toronto. On June 2, 1949, in Port Dalhousie, Ontario, the "Northumberland" caught fire and was badly gutted. |
