dc.description The "Harlem," built in 1888 at Wyandotte, Michigan, was owned by New York Central and Hudson River Railway. She sailed the Great Lakes as a packet freighter. Some time after this photo was taken, the "Harlem" was converted from a two stack freighter to a single stack passenger boat and renamed the "Minnesota." She was used along the East Coast from 1917 to 1931.
