dc.description Built at Buffalo, New York in 1881, the "Russell Sage" sailed Lakes Erie, Michigan, and Ontario for various owners. In 1917 she was sold to the Sincennes-McNaughton Company. By 1918 she was sailing as a barge named "Atlaska" or "Atlasco" - records differ on the barge's name.
