dc.description Lake Shore Electric Railway's Fremont maintenance crew constructed Car 444 - the flood car - to pull L.S.E. cars over flooded tracks in Fremont. Passengers found the ride interesting and didn't seem to mind the extra two minutes needed to hook up to Number 444.
