dc.description The Homer Warren was christened the Atlantic when she was built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1863. She carried passengers and freight between Buffalo, New York and Duluth, Minnesota. She was refitted to carry coal and lumber in 1899 to 1900 and renamed the Homer Warren. She foundered in a gale on Lake Ontario October 18, 1919.
