The clubhouse on the property of the Castalia Trout Club sits quietly on the snowy grounds. The two and one-half story building is constructed of wood and topped with a slate roof - and a weathervane in the form of a fish. The top stories are furnished as sleeping quarters, and the lower story is divided into three rooms: a reception room, a reading room, and a "fish" room where trout can be weighed, measured, and refrigerated. The iron bridge off the clubhouse piazza, or porch, provides access to service buildings, and lodging across the stream.
