dc.description Anna McMeens, known to the Cooke family as "Aunty Mac," sits second from left outside Wigand's restaurant at Put-in-Bay on South Bass Island. Eunice Dean, daughter of Rev. Henry Cooke's colleague, stands between Anna and Esther (Henry's wife) and Henry, Jr. In addition to a restaurant seating 60, Wigands also had a confectionary and a soda shop.
