dc.description Weldon B. Cooke and his flying boat "Irene" near the Lake Erie Dry Dock near Sandusky's Battery Park. Cooke was drawn to Sandusky, Ohio, by the Roberts Motor Company. The company produced an engine Cooke used during an International Meet in Los Angeles in 1912.
