Rev. Henry Cooke photographed Eunice Dean, whom he described as "our adopted daughter," with sailing gear. Rowing and sailing were popular past times for the Cooke family when they visited Gibraltar Island. Two of the oars are inscribed with the name of Henry's son, Henry E. Cooke, Jr.
