dc.description This image shows the walkway from the entrance to Rye Beach Park to the park itself. In 1900, the "Sandusky Register" described the walk that was constructed between the Interurban Electric railway station and the park as a "pleasant walk of about 40 yards," but plans were in place to lay track to the shoreline itself.
