Description:
Gus Kelley, descendant of Irad Kelley, and his wife Flora lived in this cottage built on the south shore of Kelleys Island in 1861. The center gable with an arched window beneath, full width porch, and ornately carved verge boards along the edges of the gables and porch roof identify the cottage as a Gothic revival or "Steamboat Gothic" style. This home is standing yet (March 2005) on West Lake Shore Road.
