dc.description This winter scene reveals the many cottages that had sprung up on Bruns' Rye Beach property. In 1920, Bruns sold Rye Beach Park to a group of Sandusky, Ohio, investors organized under the name Rye Beach Land Company. Within two years, a major expansion was under way. Thirty new cottages were built in 1922.
