dc.description Charles Dennis Barney (born 1844), husband of Jay Cooke's daughter Laura Cooke, explores the rocky shore of Rattlesnake Island, a popular picnic destination for visitors to Gibraltar. Joining him on the August 1907 afternoon are his son-in-law Joseph Bunting (born 1874), and grandsons Geoffrey (born 1896) and Sydney (born 1900) Bunting and Henry Watts, Jr. (born 1904).
