dc.description One calm, pleasant afternoon Henry Cooke and his guests set sail for Green Island for a picnic, visiting Wherle's, the Toledo Club, and Hotel Victory at Put-in-Bay and Rattlesnake and Catawba Islands. When the group finally reached Green Island, Henry discovered his wife was not on board. The group "chartered a crew, subsidized Gibbons, and went after her in the 'Twilight,'....Gibbon's boat is splendid for a fog. You can't ignorantly run into it."
