Description:
Division Street crosses Kelleys Island from north to south, a distance of about two and three-quarters miles. Established in 1834, Division Street was the first road constructed on the island. It was built to provide a direct-line connection between the Kelley family docks at the north and south bays. The heart of the village, the commercial center, lies at the southern end of Division Street. This view faces south where Division Street met the main steamer landing.
