dc.description The aircraft Harry Atwood brought to Sandusky, Ohio, was a Burgess - Wright. This model featured two chain-driven pusher propellers and twin floats or pontoons. The Burgess Company was founded by America's Cup yacht designer/builder Starling Burgess. Atwood was, for a time, one of the company's aviators.
