dc.description More than any other early aviator who came to Sandusky, Ohio, Harry Atwood garnered the attention and admiration of local residents. This image of an unidentified man and boy waving from the Sandusky Bay shoreline was probably representative of the attention Atwood received during the summer of 1913.
