dc.description The area of South Front and Tiffin Streets in Fremont was hit especially hard by the flood waters from the Sandusky River. Eleven houses were completely destroyed, including the house of Mr. Homan. It stood where the water still stands in this photograph. Not even a fragment of the house was found. Mr. Homan drowned, one of three flood fatalities.
