dc.description The Officer of the Day at the Soldiers' and Sailors' Home gave the orders for the Memorial Day Parade held on the grounds. The orders, which were published in the "Sandusky Register," gave the line of march for the parade participants: police, the Women's Relief Corps, veterans, school children, G.A.R. posts, firing squad, drum corps, color bearers, the Home's Cottage residents, and Ackley's Band.
