dc.description When the Sandusky River flooded Fremont in March 1913, water rose five to six feet higher than it ever had. About 517 homes were affected. Some received only a few inches of water; others were completely destroyed. The homes affected housed 1,864 people, 506 of them younger than 16 years of age.
