dc.description Christened the Pillsbury when she was built in Superior, Wisconsin in 1892, she became the Henry Cort in 1896. November 30, 1934 she was caught in a gale and driven against the breakwater at Muskegon, Michigan, on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. The Coast Guard rescued the Henry Cort's crew of 23, but one member of the rescue party was lost.
