dc.description Photographer Ernst Niebergall caught the depth and speed of the Sandusky River as it raced from its head in Crawford County, Ohio, north to Lake Erie. Just visible at the right is the steel pipe built to carry water to the hydroelectric plant built by the Sandusky River Power Company.
