dc.description When owner William Bruns and Charles Dildine subdivided Rye Beach Park, lots nearest the lake shore went quickly. The "Indianola," like many of the summer homes, sported a large front porch facing the lake. Vacationers often spent nine months of the year at their Rye Beach summer homes.
