dc.description William Crosthwaite built the Oregon at Bay City, Michigan in 1882. She was originally used to carry supplies on the upper end of Lake Superior. The Oregon burned at Thessalon, Ontario, a small city on the north east shore of Lake Huron, June 24, 1905.
