dc.description This view of a Benoist Flying Boat was taken at Cedar Point. Tom Benoist, owner of the Benoist Aeroplane Company began using corrugated metal on the rudders of his flying boats. On this flyng boat, owned by L. E. Peppin of the Lorain Hydro and Aero Company, Benoist used metal on the hull as well.
