dc.description A Fremont resident who had lived 25 years "in a pleasant home on East State Street, some twenty rods from the bank of the dear old Sandusky River" reported her experience of March 1913: "There was a strong current between us and the Clauss Shear Works, and we saw from one [upstairs] window every imaginable thing they go by with great rapidity...."
