Description:
On a visit to Rattlesnake Island in July 1903, Henry Cooke photographed a natural bridge on the island. He wrote in the Gibraltar Record that "We note by comparing the present [1903] illustration with one taken during our visit of August 1887 sixteen years ago...that the perfect face of the bridge's outline is now well nigh gone, owing partly to the crumbling of the rock and partly to the withering of the vegetation."
