Description:
The flood of February 1912 left ice piled along the banks of the Sandusky River in Fremont. Shown here are buildings along North Front Street and West State Street. The long, open shed and the two small buildings to its left are the Riverside Fuel and Supply Company. Behind the shed, the building with the umbrella-shaped corners is the Lake Shore Electric and Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway depot. The cupola and top floor of the Hotel Fremont are also visible.
