Members of the Women's Relief Corps from other cities sometimes joined Sandusky, Ohio, women in the Memorial Day observance at the Soldiers' and Sailors' Home. According to an article in the May 29, 1912 "Sandusky Register," a delegation from Toledo, Ohio, was expected to attend the 1912 celebration.
