dc.description William Bruns' dance pavilion was large enough for six sets of four couples each to dance cotillions. The hall was a consistently popular spot for campers and for residents of nearby communities. As late as 1929, Rye Beach Park featured musical groups and dancing at the pavilion "every night except Monday."
