The mission of the Greater La Pine Community Wildfire Protection Plan is to protect
against loss of life, property and natural resources as the result of wildland fire.
This CWPP outlines priorities, strategies and action plans for fuels reduction
treatments in the wildland urban interface. It also addresses special areas of
concern and makes recommendations for reducing structural vulnerability in communities at risk. It is intended to be a living vehicle for fuels reduction, educational, and other projects to decrease overall risks of loss from wildland fire; updated and revisited at least semi-annually to meet its mission. |
