dc.description Noncommutative field theories present many surprising properties. As a consequence of the noncommutativity, high momentum modes do not decouple from the physics at large distances leading to the appearance of infrared singularities even in theories without massless particles. Being nonintegrable, these infrared singularities destroy the usual perturbative expansions. We discuss talk alternative procedures to, we examine control this situation. In the low momentum regime of the Wess-Zumino model the e ect of the underlying nonlocality on the nonrelativistic potential will be examined and some physical implications.
