Description:
The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between BMI; body fat percentage (BFP)and lean body mass (LBM) with aerobic and anaerobic power of female’s national judo team.Method: BMI; BFP; LBM and aerobic and anaerobic power were measured in 7 FNJT.Hypothesis was examined by determination of Pearson’s correlation coefficients at P≤0.05.Results: The results showed that there was a significant and negative correlation between BFP;LBM and BMI with aerobic power; and between BFP with absolute average anaerobic power. But there was no significant relationship between LBM and BMI with absolute averageanaerobic power. There was a negative correlation between LBM and relative average anaerobicpower. Conclusion: Therefore; higher muscle mass and lower fat mass positively affectedphysiological capacities of female are national judo team.
