We are in a crucial moment in the health field. For years there is a movement to introduce in the daily health professionals and institutions, the need to respect the patient's voice. This message is permeating our universal public health system. Like all great changes will soon take hold.Issues such as multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary care team etc, are very recent in our midst. So fresh still in many of our schools is a utopia to think that you can participate in decisions to perform to the best patient care.The patient must be an active participant in decision making, knowing what happens, ask for clarification if something has not been understood and seek advice to make the best decision with the medical team care. But this is not a widespread reality today. Achieving this goal will not be easy. We analyzed the situation and the challenges to achieve. |
