The study was to invesigate the influence of susceptibility to emotion on the speed of information processing.16 subjects choosing from 67 college students by measuring their susceptibility to emotion were divided into two groups according to their susceptibility to emotion scores. It was a 2(emotion type:positive, negative)×2(level of susceptibility to emotion:high, low)×2(difficulty of the task:easy,hard)mixed design of a within-subjects factor and a between-subjects factor.They wee performed mental rotation task and short-term memory scanning task after being induced by positive and negative emotions respectively.The results showed that 1)the harder the task is ,the more person will be affected by the emotion;2)susceptibility to emotion has an effect of emotion response when facing a negative emotion stimulus;3)people with the higher level of susceptibility to emotion is more likely to be affected by emotion than those with a lower level.The results proved the importance of suceptibility to emotion emotion relative studies in some degree.
