VISUAL ESSAY - The work of Anna Tse features on the edition s cover and revolving homepage. Tse uses the printmaking medium to explore how people s everyday experiences are mediated through contemporary urban surroundings. Using the architecture of Hong Kong as her platform, Tse explores the centrality of technology to contemporary existence and the creative possibilities to be found in its subversion. Artworks featured: 1. Between the Bus Stop and Traffic Lights; 2. Crossing Through; 3. Differences in Familiar Sites; 4. Traffic, Building and the Bus Stop; 5. Penetrating the Jungle; 6. Separating Overhead Banners from the Building. |
