dc.description Pyramid Atlantic Art Center’s mission statement includes providing a safe setting for artistic innovation, collaboration and dialogue with artists to help them continue to expand their work through crossover of media. This proposition is valid for mid-career artists, emerging artists and especially important for young artists in our schools who may be “at risk” in our society. Creation of this kind of safe and innovative environment can provide an intense experience that impacts and changes a mind set - empowers a life course. While a resident at Pyramid Atlantic I was privileged to be involved in the ongoing evolution of outreach programs that produced growth in both participant and mentor, alike.
